After completing his studies, Raghunandan Rao moved to Patancheru, an industrial area, in 1991. He worked as a news contributor for the Telugu daily newspaper Eenadu for five years. Later, he enrolled as an advocate in the Bar Association of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. As a lawyer, he became well-known because he handled important cases, including the bail petition of Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi. Political Career
Raghunandan Rao started his political journey with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party on April 27, 2001. He was an active member and served as a politburo member and Medak district convenor.
